Who are You? What is Your Specialty?

Hi, I’m Loni! I am the founder of LP Creative and I have lived in Colorado for 6 years with my husband and our dogs and I have been a planner and logistics wizard for as long as I can remember.​

As an artist and event planner, I thrive off the idea of making something beautiful out of nothing. Whether it is a blank canvas turned into a piece of art or a stunning view turned into a ceremony space – the challenge is always exciting.

I have a wide range of experience from planning weddings, galas, golf tournaments, luncheons, grand openings, holiday parties, bridal and engagement parties, and even 5K runs!

I am an Affiliate Professor at Metro State University and teach Event Project Planning and Senior Event Production in the School of Hospitality Events and Tourism.

In addition to teaching and event planning, I have a passion for all things creative. I enjoy painting, creating floral arrangements, wreaths, centerpieces, and custom event decorations.

What Are You Passionate About? What Do You Stand For?

I am passionate about creating beautiful things and I love working with my hands. I get so excited to think of unique details that can be incorporated into each bride’s special day. While I enjoy the planning part, the design part is just so fun! I stand for transparency, honesty, and building genuine relationships with my clients. I want them to feel like they can come to me for anything and feel confident that I will be their gatekeeper to field any issues that may arise so they can enjoy every moment of their day. I am a problem solver.  

Who are your Clients?

I truly believe the clients I am supposed to work with find me. They are free spirited, fun, positive, open to hearing my thoughts, and trust my expertise in the wedding realm so we can create some beautiful together!

When and Why Did You Start Your Business?

I started my business in February of 2019. The idea of being a business owner has been on my mind for several years and the timing just felt right! I have confidence in my skills and abilities and I value finding work/life balance and what I know to be very true about myself is that I must do something I am passionate about for my work.

What or Who Inspires You?

Beautiful things inspire me. Art, interior design, flowers, decor elements, color palette. Anything! And I love creating/making/building things!

Do You Have Any Advice For Newly Engaged Couples?

This is YOUR day. If you only want 40 people there, then that is what should happen.

What is One Of Your Guilty Pleasures?

Ugh, chocolate…and $7 fancy coffees.

I work for you. I will only execute or make changes to things that we have discussed – not what your Aunt, Uncle, Mother, or Mother-in-Law thinks should happen!

What is Your Favorite Part About A Wedding?

I thrive on event day. I love seeing all the planning and design come together to create something magical the couple has been dreaming about for months. It is the best part to see the smiles on their faces when they see everything come together.
