Local hairstylist, specializing in bridal hair and make up in Denver.

Who are your clients?

The brides I work with typically tend to be around my age (23-30)

When and Why did you start your business?

I became a licensed cosmetologist in 2010, I owe that to my mother who has been a hair designer for over 30 years. Bridal hair fell into my hands actually, while working at a salon in Cherry Creek where the other hairdressers wouldn’t touch an up-do with a 10 ft pole. All the special event style up-dos and bridal up-dos came to me and I instantly fell in love and had to pursue it.

What or Who inspires you?

Thanks to social media, I follow 100’s of hairdressers throughout the world. I am inspired by the different styles and trends that are popular in other countries.

Do you have any advice for newly engaged couples?

Don’t stress about the minor details. When it comes to your wedding day, step away from the crowd for at least a few minutes and enjoy it together.

What is one of your guilty pleasures?

Guilty pleasure… Sundays. I love sleeping in, throwing my hair in a pony tail, wearing comfy clothes and watching football all day in the fall.

What is one thing newly engaged couples should know about your service?

My service price always includes a travel fee, products used, gas and time. My pricing is also reflects me missing an entire day at the salon and being unavailable for clients that have behind the chair needs.

What is your favorite part about a wedding?

Even though it is the only part I see, it will always be my favorite: the beginning of the day. Being able to be with the bride and her bridal party at the location they are getting ready at is magical. The room is always filled with laughter, music, emotions and let’s be honest… mimosas.
